Streptococcus
pneumoniae have a round coccus shape, and are often found as diplococci as
seen in the picture. They have a polysaccharide capsule which protects them
from immune system detection. Streptococcus
pneumoniae have pili that help them adhere to the respiratory tract, and prevent
them from being expelled by coughing.
Heya terrific website! Does running a blog such as this require a large amount of work? I've virtually no expertise in coding however I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
